Cute, but horrible design. When these first arrived, right out of the box the zipper was impossible to zip up. After pulling the laces out to fully inspect the zipper, I found that the fabric near the zipper had not been trimmed and was catching in the zipper’s teeth. I was able to trim it back with an Xacto knife. That helped, but it still was hard to zip, even for an adult let alone my kindergartner. Wax and chapstick on the zipper teeth didn’t help. The zipper pull also gets stuck in a position that makes it hard to use. That was 7 weeks ago. As of yesterday, now the zippers wont stay up, and the shoes have been rendered unwearable. Highly disappointed considering the price point. Have not had these issues with other brands that utilize the side zippers at all similar price point. I’ll stick with the other brand.
